Transportation In Brunei

Brunei Towns are generally very small so it is easy for foreigners and local people to get around. there are six buses routes on service: they are the Central line, Circle line, Eastern line, Southern line, Western line and Northern line. the Buses operate from 6am - 6pm. all the above routes terminate their journey at the main bus terminal in BSB. Bus Fares start from $1.00.


The Water Taxis, uniqueness of Brunei, it is the most common transportation for people who are living in kampong ayer (water village) the Water Taxis is the most efficient way to visit and view the water village up - close. the cost of the water taxis depends on the distance but usually it costs about BND 0.50.


Meter Taxis are available from most hotels, shopping centre and the Airport. there are extra cost for taxis rides from 11:00pm - 6.00am. For further inquires you may call the Land transport department at 2451979 during office hours.
